My parents have never massively influenced my choices of Music and often during discussions with people I think I prefer it that way because I was then able to fully experiment with the sounds that I enjoyed which has really made a difference to who I am today and explains why my Music preference is so diverse.

All American Rejects – Swing Swing

All American Rejects mean a lot to me because they were one of the first live bands I ever saw back in 2006, the feeling of being able to save money from a part time job and spend it on someone that I really liked was an incredible feeling and it started off my fascination with live music.

The Starting Line – Best of Me

This is a staple song for anyone interested in the same sort of music that I am and I recently saw them live at a festival called “Slam Dunk” which often involves bands/artists which i've grown up with mixed with some of my newer favourites.

New Found Glory – My Friends Over You

New Found Glory are a band that have always been there in importance and i've now seen them live several times. Bands go in and out of fashion however NFG are a band that are always admired, this is the perfect song to get people dancing at alternative clubnights.

Good Charlotte – Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous

Good Charlotte are one of my favourite bands and this is off their most popular album “Young and Hopeless” although they are not to everyone's taste they've always played a big part of me growing up.

Four Year Strong – Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die

Here's a band I stumbled upon by accident when I was really enjoying bands on the “Fueled by Ramen” label which has helped push artists such as “Panic at the Disco”, “Paramore” and “Fall Out Boy” I downloaded their album “Rise of Die Trying” instantly falling in love with every song and I regard them as one of my favourite bands and have seen them live several times.

Linkin Park – One Step Closer

I considered Hybrid Theory to be one of the greatest albums i've ever heard when I first listened to it and still do now. They're an important band for many people in the years we were growing up and i'm sure that even if people don't like the Music they can't argue with the fact that so many people regard this as an important time in their life.

Papa Roach – Last Resort

Here's a band people often critique but I absolutely love them and their album “Infest” is incredible and I still listen to this band a lot. Having not seen them live yet they're on my list of bands to see at some point during my life.

Enter Shikari – Sorry You're Not a Winner

What can I say about this band, i've seen this band grow from a small band into one of the most important bands within the culture. Through hard-work they have become one of the most popular bands with their rock and dance enthused genre hybrid they have won fans from all over the world. They're the band I have seen most and I will continue to see them over and over again because they always improve their live show which is apprant comparing when I first saw them and they had no effects to what their live performance is now full of a light show and their fan base continues to grow while their fans from earlier times still consider them as relatable as before.

Pendulum – Slam

This band gets a lot of grief for “selling out” however I remember seeing them when “Hold Your Colour” was re-released with many people enjoying them, when I saw them at my local university it was an incredible gig and to share the experience with many of my best friends from home it was one of my most enjoyable moments.

Daft Punk – Harder Better Faster Stronger

I don't know anybody that doesn't like Daft Punk even if they don't like the style of Music they can still appreciate how undeniably brilliant they are from their Music to their incredible stage shows. They're an act I just think should tour more as i'd love to see them live as everything i've heard about them has been fantastic.

Fatboy Slim – Praise You

I saw this man as a closing act at my first “Bestival” It was a fantastic festival and as i've only been to Leeds Festival before for convenience reasons it marks an important moment of my life that I tried somewhere different and several thousand people going crazy to this song in “the big top” will be an image and a experience in my head probably forever.

Justice – D.A.N.C.E

Justice are just unbelievable and it marks a time in my life when I really started experimenting properly with the Music I enjoyed, during the later years of my high school life I really started to enjoy “House” and Dance music in general but they are important as I am due to see them in the upcoming weeks for the first time and it promises to be another great live experience.
